How I earned an impressive $6000+ on the platform

In July 2019, after having spent a month on Fiverr promoting gigs for photography editing (and no luck on anyone purchasing it), I realized that I had a gig that I created a while ago for ghostwriting services. So I decided to reactivate because what did I have to lose?

About less than a week after reactivating my gig post, something life-changing happened. Okay, maybe not life-changing per se, but it did significantly impact the beginnings of my life as a freelancer. I got a message from someone inquiring about writing…

The Night At The Coffe Shop

A Flash Fiction Story

Photo by Jason Briscoe on Unsplash

I observed the customers walking into the coffee shop like an evening rush hour. The potent smell of brewing espresso lit my nostrils on fire. I gathered the empty packets of sugar, putting them on the plate that formerly held my chocolate scone.

How close are you? I text messaged my date.

Strumming my fingers on the table, I continued to monitor the customers coming and going, their grande lattes in one hand, smart phones in another.

Hello? You there? I texted ten minutes later.

Pulling up Instagram, I scroll…

How to double your earnings as a freelance writer!

“Successful people do what unsuccessful people are not willing to do. Don’t wish it were easier; wish you were better.”

— Jim Rohn

After graduating college, I had no idea how I was going to make it as a writer. I knew eventually I wanted (and still do) to write scripts for tv shows and films (mainly create my own), but until I worked my way up to doing that, I needed something to help bring in some income.

So in 2019, I started to work as a freelancer on Fiverr…

And as beautiful and heartfelt it is to see people…

Reminiscing on a Friendship

A Love Poem on Friendship

At this moment I’d give anything
To have our friendship
He was like a friend
That you could count on
When the days of life were a hue of red
And not the kind that you’d paint the town with

No, he was like
The warmth of sunshine
that hits your face
On the first day of summer

The glistening of his smile was kind of like
The sting you get when the sun’s light
Hits your eyes when you wake up

Every now and again I catch myself smiling
As…

A Poem About Moving On

Photo by Sandra Seitamaa on Unsplash

Last week I made a wish on you
Tried my best to make it come true
Saw 11:11 for 3 days straight
I thought surely it’s a sign
And I shouldn’t hesitate
To make a wish

So I clenched my eyes and prayed
Hoping that God heard it
Choosing to have faith and move unafraid

What then would you have me to do, Universe?
Sit while me, myself and I converse
I can’t say that I’ve been
The biggest fan of patience
But I have no choice
In this game waiting

But the day went…
